Abstract

A variety of intracranial tumors exhibit different forms of calcification. The common tumors are enlisted below.
1. Oligodendroglioma
2. Desmoplastic infantile astrocytoma and ganglioglioma
3. Ganglioglioma
4. Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET)
5. Atypical teratoid-rhabdoid tumor
6. Pilocytic astrocytoma
7. Pineoblastoma/Pineocytoma
8. Pineal germinoma
9. Central neurocytoma
10. Choroid plexus papilloma
